Back at Uni

Week 2 back at uni, kinda want to go back to work and 3 am wake ups again.
Had to postpone my Auckland trip again because they changed the date for the Kensington Swan evening, so now I'm spending the weekend reading.

2 of the more than 300 pages I have to read each week...

So much reading! My highlighter is already starting to run out, i think I'm gonna need to take out a mortgage just to buy enough highlighters for the year, but it'll all be worth it eventually.  Fingers crossed anyway

My Morning

So I just got out of the shower to find out that my mum in all her wisdom decided to wash all the clothes I brought back with me,  even the clean ones, then she went out somewhere.  I'm now walking around the house in a towel waiting for some of them to be dry so I can go and do all the jobs I'm supposed to be doing today.
Just thought I'd share that with the world.

Food for Thought

So I'm watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Ceasar just attacked the SOB neighbor because he attacked the old man Ceasar lives with.  It got me thinking, if someone attacked my Mum or Grandma then I would be legally entitled to defend them (Crimes Act 1961, s48) with what ever force I deemed necessary in the circumstances.  Why should an animal with similar intelligence to our own not be entitled to at least a similar kind of protection? I think it's really unfair that if my dog bit someone who was attacking me, that person could demand she be put down.  I don't see why we as humans should be entitled to so much more than other animals, why should another species be forced to adhere to our laws when they don't even understand them?

Happenings

I'm insanely bored right now so I thought I'd let the world now what I've been up to.
So last weekend I got an iPhone 4S, which is pretty awesome, Siri is like the best invention ever. And I've been working. Everyday. Starting at 4.30 am.
So yea that's pretty much it, had a pretty boring few weeks.
Less boring was Hannah's 21st a couple of weeks ago, definitely gunna need another trip to Waiheke sometime soon, only problem is it eats into my holiday savings but I'm sure I can cope.  I was gunna put some photos on here from the party weekend but I forgot to take any so you can have one of Mr Bean instead

Summer

Just escaped from my crimes exam, 3 hours of culpable homicide and sexual offences
Not the funnest
On the bright side it was my last exam
I'M 3/4 OF A LAWYER!!
And now it's time for Summer
I can look forward to more of this

We literally drove until we ran out of road, I'm not even kidding, we ended up on the "Forgotten World Highway"

And I get to go stay at my besties and make cupcakes again!

YAY FOR SUMMER AND NO MORE EXAMS

Today

At first I was like, exam tomorrow, today is gonna be really productive

What I expected...

But then I picked up my books and I was all like

Reality.

So now I'm all like

I have decided to waste my day on tumblr/blogspot instead. The plan is to write up a case list in a few hours, memorize it, then regurgitate it in the exam tomorrow, fool proof plan right, what can possibly go wrong?

O and I burnt the risotto I was making for breakfast cos I got distracted by facebook, I should have known then that today wouldn't go to plan.

Exams

I'm officially 2/5ths of the way through my exams, next week cant get here soon enough
because that means I'm free for the summer
SO. MUCH. EXCITE.
Then I get to go see the bestest person ever and giver her the amaze balls present I got for her birthday.
But that's not till later, I have to survive another 9 hours of mental probing first :/

I remember those days. God how I miss those days...
